Crates and Flooring and Crate Accessories

Canarm has designed the Euro Crate to create maximum versatility for the producer and to increase the comfort and productivity of the sow and piglets. The Euro Crate has many options including freestanding, rear or front mounting of the crate, different crate lengths and angling of the crate for maximum utilization of space.

The Standard Crates have been designed to have positive action anti-crush bars that help ease the sow down to the floor reducing crushing rates. This can be easily adjusted to allow sow and piglets to nurse more comfortably and reduce pre-weaning mortality.

Drinkers

The nipple drinker dispenses a controlled amount of water which prevents water waste and excess water from pooling on the floor where piglets could lay in it and become sick.They are designed to keep fresh, clean water accessible to pigs at all times. Drinkers reduce wasted water and keeps pigs environment drier.

Flooring

Cast Iron Flooring can be combined with all of Canarm AgSystems flooring applications. Designed with 2 traction levels for extreme horizontal foothold on wet or fatty surfaces, providing excellent traction for sows with weak legs. The Seamless Summit Nursery Slat provides exceptionally easy cleaning, elevated comfort, and excellent durability. This is another innovative BSM brand product that helps you produce healthier pigs more economically. The V-Bar Flooring is suitable for farrowing, nursing, growing and finishing. Provides a cool, flat surface to keep the sow comfortable. Triangular shaped V-Bars let manure filter quickly and easily. Easy to clean, maintain and install. Cost and labour efficient.

Stalls

The Easy-Choice sow stall gives a gestating sow protection while she’s feeding in a loose sow-housing environment. The stall is simple and strong, with only one pivot point.

The sow enters when she wants to eat and a gate swings shut behind her to protect her.

When she is done feeding, she backs up and the gate swings open, allowing her to leave into the loose sow pen.
